According to Obasanjonews.com, Onwenu passed away on Tuesday immediately after her performance at a birthday celebration in Lagos.
After becoming ill at a private event, she collapsed at the Reddington Hospital in Lagos as stated by the report.
According to insiders within the family circle, Onwenu performed on stage while attending a birthday celebration for her friend.
Nevertheless, she collapsed abruptly upon returning to her seat.
