Senator Shehu Sani has likened Atiku Abubakar’s visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari as “journeying through the Sahara”.
Sani stated that if Atiku’s visit to Daura, Katsina State was solely for the purpose of Sallah homage, then it would be acceptable. However, if it was a political mission, it would be comparable to embarking on a challenging journey through the Sahara desert.
In a recent post on his social media account, Sani expressed his views on the matter. He emphasized that if the visit was purely for the purpose of paying respects during the Sallah festivities, it would be deemed appropriate.
However, if it had any political undertones, it would be considered as a difficult and arduous journey through the Sahara desert. Atiku, who was the presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the previous general election, visited Buhari at his residence in Daura, Katsina State.
He was accompanied by Aminu Tambuwal, the former Governor of Sokoto State, and other PDP stakeholders.
