Several bandits were killed in Kaduna by NAF airstrikes
In various local government districts of Kaduna, the Nigerian Air Force has conducted aerial patrols over bandit camps that have been found near flash sites, killing numerous bandits in the process.
Samuel Aruwan, the commissioner for internal security and home affairs, stated in a statement that the state government received operational input about the missions.
He said that the attack took place at the bandits’ known areas in the Kawara region of the Igabi LGA.
According to later confirmation from reliable human intelligence sources on the ground, the strike verified the neutralization of three bandits and allowed several abducted victims to escape from the local vicinity.
“An active area was targeted and effectively attacked in Walawa, Giwa LGA. Armed surveillance was conducted in the Chikun LGA in the areas of Faka, Kangon Kadi, Damba, Ungwan Turai, Galbi, and Gwagwada. About 4 kilometers to the northwest of Godani, terrorists were seen and eliminated, the official added.
Aruwan added that rockets were fired at an area where active terrorists were found in Kuduru.
According to him, operations were carried out over Riyawa, Alhaji Isiaka, Rima, Riyawa, Rumana, Ungwan Liman, Mai Gishiri, and the Kaduna Airport region in Igabi LGA, but no notable activity was seen.
He claimed that Sabon Birnin, Anaba, Malumi, Wusono, and Kerawa had comparable outcomes.
