Despite rampant rumors on social media, Seun Okinbaloye, a renowned host at Channels Television, has not received any termination from the network.

Farooq Kperogi, a well-known columnist for newspapers and professor of Mass Communication, personally spoke with Okinbaloye to clarify the matter.

During a private chat on Saturday morning, Okinbaloye informed Kperogi that he is presently taking time off in the United States and still holds his job at Channels TV.

On his verified Facebook page, Kperogi stated that contrary to the circulating rumors on social media, Seun Okinbaloye from Channel TV has not been fired. Kperogi further communicated with Okinbaloye a few hours ago and confirmed he is still very much employed by Channels TV while currently on vacation in the United States.

According to the Professor of Journalism based in the United States, Okinbaloye stated that “Prof, the entire narrative is fabricated news.”
