Seun Kuti, the Afrobeat singer, has expressed his skepticism regarding the recently published billionaire list for 2024 by Forbes, an American magazine.

According to Forbes, the world’s five richest individuals are Bernard Arnault, a fashion mogul from France, with a net worth of $233 billion, followed by American businessmen Elon Musk ($195 billion), Jeff Bezos ($194 billion), Mark Zuckerberg ($177 billion), and Larry Ellison ($141 billion).

The breakdown reveals that these five individuals have collectively increased their wealth to a staggering $869 billion since the COVID-19 lockdown.

However, Kuti firmly believes that this list is fabricated, asserting that it is impossible for anyone to accumulate such wealth through sheer hard work.

Taking to his social media platform, he expressed his disbelief, stating that the five richest men could spend $1 million every day for the next 476 years, a feat that no one could possibly achieve. In his view, we have been deceived by these figures.
