Seun Kuti has stated that he gave VeryDarkMan the go-ahead to expose Bobrisky regarding the alleged ₦15 million bribery. Learn more about the unfolding drama and its implications.

Maverick artist Seun Kuti has disclosed his involvement in the ongoing dispute between the controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, and the well-known influencer Martins Vincent Otse, referred to as VeryDarkMan.

It is noteworthy that on Tuesday night, VDM released an audio recording purportedly featuring Bobrisky, in which he alleged that he bribed officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15 million to have the money laundering charges against him dismissed.

In the recording, Bobrisky asserted that he never spent any time in prison following his conviction and six-month sentence, emphasizing that his godfather arranged for him to serve his sentence in a lodge rather than in a correctional facility.

However, on Wednesday morning, Bobrisky refuted these allegations, claiming that the widely circulated recording was fabricated and that he indeed served his sentence in prison.

In response, Seun Kuti revealed that he was the one who encouraged VeryDarkMan to bring Bobrisky’s actions to light after being informed about the existence of the recording.

During an Instagram live session, Kuti stated, “You people are late to the party; I was the first person VeryDarkMan informed about the story. I gave him the go-ahead to expose Bobrisky.”

In the meantime, the EFCC has summoned both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan regarding the N15 million bribery allegation against its officials. The two have been invited to the EFCC’s office in Lagos State to provide information and assist with the ongoing investigation.
