No one would challenge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election, according to Kenneth Eze, chairman of the Senate Committee on Information.

Eze encouraged Nigerians to allay worries that President Bola Tinubu’s victory would be overturned, as the opposition had been speculating, and he specifically called on the leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in power in Ebonyi State.

At his country house in Onueke, Ezza South LGA of Ebonyi State, where party officials and other leaders had paid him a courtesy visit to celebrate the Ezza Ezekuna Ukaku New Yam festival, he made this point clear.

There are numerous distractions, he claims. The enemy is doing everything they can to divert our attention, but we won’t let them. APC joined the team at a period when conditions were extremely challenging.

People believe that the withdrawal of fuel subsidies will cause the economy to crash, but, to their surprise, the economy of the nation has been strengthened. God willing, in two weeks the Port-Harcourt refinery will be operational, and the impact of the subsidy removal will be mitigated.

“I can assure you that our party, the APC, is doing well, and nobody will reverse the election of the current administration,” he continued. I want to encourage you to be strong and not to be afraid because God is with us. Some individuals have been bragging that Atiku or Obi will take over the nation.
