President Bola Tinubu has received congratulations from Sen. Tokunbo Abiru (Lagos-East) for winning the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday.

In a statement released by his media assistant, Mr. Enitan Olukotun, in Lagos on Thursday, Abiru congratulated Tinubu.

The congressman praised the confirmation of Tinubu’s mandate and referred to the tribunal’s decision as a genuine expression of the will of the people.

Abiru also expressed his gratitude to Tinubu’s supporters and the millions of Nigerians who cast ballots for him on February 25.

The Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions Chairman, Abiru, voiced his trust in the president’s ability to keep his commitment to restore hope for Nigerians.

In order to make Nigeria better, he urged Nigerians from all political, religious, and ethnic backgrounds to support the Bola Tinubu administration.

“I celebrate this historic win with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, our dear Leader and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“The tribunal’s decision, which is a well-deserved triumph, further echoes the will of Nigerians.

Regardless of our different political views, Abiru stated, “we should put the past behind us and take part in the nation-building task.”
