Senate Presidency: Inept Southern Christian better than Northern Muslim – Shettima

The most incompetent Southern Christian is preferable to the most pious Northern Muslim, according to Vice President Kashim Shettima, as the race for the Senate Presidency heats up.

Shettima stated that he is prepared to grovel before the incoming senators and implore them to permit a Southern Christian to become the next Senate President.

He spoke while interacting with senators in Abuja.

Shettima said, “I’m prepared to fall to my knees and beg my colleagues for the sake of the nation. This is necessary for the survival of the country.

In a multi-ethnic, multi-religious polity like ours, here we are with a Muslim president and a Muslim vice president.Numbers 1, 2, and all of the same faith for the love of God.

“Under the current regime, the worst, the most incompetent Southern Christian is better than the most puritanical Northern Muslim for the Presidency of the Senate.”
