Sen Adokwe applauds the tribunal’s decision and advises Sule to accept Ombugadu as governor of Nasarawa
Senator Suleiman Asonya Adokwe, a former senator from Nasarawa South Senatorial District, has praised the most recent decision made by the tribunal presided over by Justice Ezekiel Ajayi.
Recall that the tribunal determined on Monday that the winner of the Nasarawa State governorship election on March 18 was Hon. David Ombugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), not Alhaji Audu Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
‘Mai Wanka’ Ombugadu, a three-term senator, received congratulations from Adokwe for winning the tribunal.
The senator emphasised that it is the anticipated justice that is being properly served and that the tribunal’s ruling truly reiterates the mandate given to the PDP and Ombugadu by the state’s conscious inhabitants.
He commended the whole Nasarawa population, particularly the ardent PDP supporters, for their unshakable resolve, tenacity, and tireless efforts displayed throughout the unrelenting pursuit to restore the mandate that had been stolen.
He urged Nasarawa’s political opponents to graciously accept the tribunal’s ruling and work with Ombugadu to guide the country’s growth.
