In response to a reported phone call between Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and Ibrahim Masari, the Kano State Government has issued a statement warning the public against the nefarious and false attempts made by social media and internet publications.
They allegedly discussed their political ties to Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, throughout the conversation.
In a formal statement issued on Saturday, the State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Muhammad Garba, blasted it as the work of paid operatives who want to foment dissension and disaffection between the two well-known political personalities.
It is obvious that some people who are uncomfortable with the long-standing friendship between Tinubu, Ganduje, and Masari are taking advantage of this circumstance, stated Garba.
The commissioner made it clear that both Ganduje and Tinubu have acknowledged the “mischievous attempt” and are determined to maintaining their positive working relationship, particularly at this crucial moment.
He continued, “We will not permit selfish persons to undo the hard work and cooperation between Governor Ganduje and President-elect Tinubu.
The commissioner urged All Progressives Congress (APC) members and the general public to reject such attempts and continue to remain loyal and composed in their support of the organization. He exhorted everyone to concentrate on guaranteeing the President-elect’s successful inauguration.
The “fabricated audio clip” won’t have an impact on the political cooperation between Ganduje, Tinubu, and Masari, according to the Kano State Government.
