Segun Sowunmi warns President Tinubu that ongoing economic hardship could lead to the downfall of his presidency within the next 10 months, highlighting growing public dissatisfaction and political tensions.
Segun Sowunmi, a former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has claimed that a group of corrupt politicians have taken over President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government.
According to him, the President’s endeavors and intervention strategies were acknowledged but had no significant impact on the public.
During an interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Mic On Podcast, the PDP leader emphasized that Tinubu’s future would be bleak unless significant progress is made to alleviate Nigerians’ hardships within a ten-month period.
“If, within the next ten months, there is no clear and easily understandable proof that people are receiving high-quality services, the president can consider it a lost cause as there will be nothing left to pursue.”
Despite the ongoing protest issue, I felt incredibly let down that many of Tinubu’s supporters who had the ability to spontaneously engage with people were not doing so.
“He stated that due to the president (Bola Tinubu) being ensnared by a select group of individuals (cabal), his efforts are not effectively serving the populace.”
