Senator Ali Ndume has urged Daniel Bwala to reconcile with Vice President Kashim Shettima, emphasizing the importance of unity and forgiveness in political relationships. Ndume described mending fences as crucial for progress within the party.

Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, who represents Borno South, has encouraged Daniel Bwala, the newly appointed Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communications, to seek forgiveness from Vice President Kashim Shettima. It was Shettima’s selection as Tinubu’s running mate that prompted Bwala to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement issued on Saturday, Ndume urged Bwala to collaborate with Shettima in advancing the “Renewed Hope” agenda of the Tinubu administration.

Remember that on Thursday, President Tinubu appointed Bwala, the former spokesperson for ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign, as his Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications. Additionally, he appointed three others to serve as Directors-General of various agencies.

The legislator instructed Bwala to collaborate closely with the Vice President, his second principal, in advancing Mr. President’s Renewed Hope agenda.

Ndume encouraged the new media aide to take inspiration from Sunday Dare and Onanuga, whom he described as long-time loyal supporters of Tinubu. Ndume praised their ability to advocate for Mr. President’s policies respectfully and without resorting to abusive language or offensiveness.

He advised you to take inspiration from individuals like Hadiza Bala and Nuhu Ribadu (NSA), who effectively support and promote Tinubu’s policies using facts and figures. Additionally, he encouraged connecting with people at the grassroots level since charity starts at home. He wished you success in your new role.
