Swiftly, security forces dispersed a gathering of protesters on Monday in Karu, which is located in the Federal Capital Territory’s suburb.
The authorities intervened forcefully as the crowd amassed, leading to the apprehension of three persons.
Yahaya Abdullahi, a protester present at the scene, narrated that their assembly was interrupted by law enforcement and other security personnel who used tear gas on them.
