Security forces in Kebbi have successfully saved two kidnap victims

In a commendable display of collaboration, a joint security team consisting of the Nigerian Army, NSCDC, DSS, and vigilante groups successfully carried out a rescue operation in Suru and Maiyama local government areas of Kebbi.

The Director in charge of Security Service, Cabinet Office, AbdulRahman Zagga, expressed his gratitude to Governor Nasir Idris for his unwavering support in equipping the agencies with the necessary tools.

The operation itself was a resounding success, as the team tracked the bandits from Giro forest to Boma and eventually to Zugu Liba forest, where the two abducted individuals were safely rescued.

The relentless pressure exerted by the security forces forced the kidnappers to abandon their captives.

The rescued victims have been reunited with their families under the supervision of the village head and the vigilante chairman of Zugu Liba village.

Zagga urged the public to provide any valuable information that could aid the security operatives in their ongoing efforts to combat insecurity in the state.
