On Saturday, Cyriel Dessers netted a goal for the second game in a row as Rangers secured a challenging 2-1 triumph against Motherwell.

This marks the initial victory of Philippe Clement’s team for this season.

Dessers scored his first goal of the season in Rangers’ midweek UEFA Champions League qualifying round match against Dynamo Kiev, marking his opening account for the campaign.

At the Ibrox, the 29-year-old netted the opening goal against Motherwell.

After being assisted by Mohammed Diomande, the Nigerian player scored a goal in just 15 minutes.

Robin Propper placed the ball into his own net, resulting in Motherwell drawing level five minutes later.

After being set up by James Tavarnier, Vaclav Cerny scored the game-winning goal in just 24 minutes.

The game was initiated with Dessers’ fellow countryman, Leon Balogun being on the bench.

Proper was replaced by Balogun with 13 minutes remaining.
