After Cyriel Dessers ended his goal drought, Rangers forward Abdallah Sima voiced his happiness.
Dessers struggled in front of goal under previous manager Michael Beale, and he was removed from the starting lineup.
Philippe Clement, the team’s new manager, gave the 28-year-old a fresh start against Hibernian on Saturday at Ibrox.
The Nigerian returned his manager’s trust by scoring the fourth goal of Rangers’ 4-0 thrashing of Hibs.
Sima promised to continue supporting the former Cremonese star after seeing Dessers score once more.

“However, Cyriel was overjoyed to score, and we shared that joy. A striker’s ability to score is crucial. It has been challenging for him because he hasn’t scored in a few games. So, everyone here is pleased that he has scored once more,” he said to Football Scotland.
He is a team player who puts in a lot of effort. Sometimes in life, there are challenging periods. But he has worked so hard and has remained upbeat even during those times.
“I am pleased with my goals, but I am equally pleased when the other guys score, and it was great that Cyriel scored for us. We’ll keep assisting him in scoring more goals.
