The Lagos State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has upheld the election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Justice Mikhail Abdullah upheld Sanwo-Olu’s victory while rejecting the appeals of PDP’s Olajide Adediran and Labour Party’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, both of whom were running for governor.

To challenge the results of the state’s most recent governorship election, GRV and Adediran each submitted a separate petition.

However, the applications were denied by the court presided over by Justice Abdullah.
