The Ajax ex-winger, who joined Old Trafford two seasons ago, had been set to depart the club during this transfer window for Real Betis.

Despite earlier reports linking Antony with a move to Spain, football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has stated that there will be no loan deal between the player and Real Betis.

According to him, the Brazilian has no intention of leaving Old Trafford and would prefer to remain at Manchester United.

At present, Chelsea have filed a formal proposal to Manchester United for the transfer of Jadon Sancho.

It is rumored that the winger from England desires to depart Erik ten Hag’s team in the upcoming summer and has expressed a willingness to join the Blues.

Romano explained that the initial loan proposal is comparable to Juventus’ terms, but with a higher overall package.

“Sancho is excited to join Chelsea and it’s up to the clubs or Man Utd to make a decision.”
