In anticipation of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has approved the early release of June salaries for all state employees, commencing on Monday.
This decision is aimed at ensuring that workers throughout the state can partake in a comfortable and festive celebration.
The announcement was conveyed in a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Abubakar Bawa, on Sunday. Bawa highlighted that the early payment will benefit not only state civil servants but also local government workers and pensioners.
Governor Aliyu conveyed his warm wishes to the Muslim community for a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Kabir festival. It is worth noting that since assuming office, Aliyu has consistently ensured that state workers receive their salaries between the 20th and 21st of each month.
