Bacary Sagna, a former defender for Manchester City and Arsenal, has pushed the Gunners to recruit Marcus Rashford of Manchester United during the summer transfer window.

Sagna claims that the England international is fast and presses quite hard.

He expressed his desire to see Marcus Rashford play for Arsenal to CoinPoker (via Metro).

“I believe that with Rashford’s tranquilly, they could overwhelm the opposition if they included him in their attack.”

“Rashford is so quick,” he continued. Marcus Rashford would allow them to attack with greater variety, and it would be amazing to have Gabriel Jesus and Marcus Rashford on the same team and pressing so hard.

Rashford didn’t do anything particularly noteworthy in the recently finished season.

The England tentative team for Euro 2024 did not include him.
