Rush- by Ayra Starr is up for Grammy

Popularly known as Ayra Starr, sensational Nigerian singer Sarah Aderibigbe has disclosed that the 66th Annual Grammy Awards are considering nominating her smash hit song “Rush” from her debut album, “19 & Dangerous.”

On Wednesday, the delighted singer announced this via her X Twitter.

The song “Rush” from her debut album 19&Dangerious Deluxe is being considered for this year’s Grammy Awards, she writes.

“Extremely appreciative to the creatives @andrevibez, @unusual_mbryo, @johnnydrille, and @prodhoops with whom we collaborated on this project.

In the meantime, 122 songs in total have been submitted for the 66th Grammy Awards’ newly constituted “Best African Performance” category.

This morning on Thursday, the American music data organisation Chart Data announced it.

“122 tracks were nominated for this year’s Grammys’ Best African Performance category.

According to Chart Data via X, the prize will be given for the first time in 2024.
