Cameroonian forward Vincent Aboubakar thinks that Lionel Messi is a better player than Cristiano Ronaldo.
This was Aboubakar’s dig at Ronaldo, who had replaced him at Al Nassr the previous week.
The Cameroonian insisted that he has always known that Messi, the star player for Argentina, is the better player. He also said that after training with Ronaldo at Al Nassr, this became clearer to him.
According to The Daily Mail, Aboubakar is expected to quit the Saudi Arabian team because they are only allowed to have eight international players on their roster because the 37-year-old signed a two-and-a half-year contract there.
Aboubakar, who claimed that Messi was superior to him, now punched the five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or in the most painful location.
The Cameroonian international reportedly stated that he now knows from experience that Messi is a superior player to Ronaldo. This is according to Mundo Deportivo.
The 30-year-old attacker claimed, “I always thought that Messi was better than Ronaldo, but after I had practise with him, I realised I was right.”
