Cristiano Ronaldo, the goal scorer for Al Nassr, may be suspended. An investigation into past fraudulent bookkeeping and transfer irregularities at his former club Juventus could lead to another suspension for the Portugal international.
According to Italian journalist Paolo Ziliani, Juventus just had 15 points taken away after an Italian court looked into their financial situation.
According to Ziliani, the punishment for the Italian heavyweights may have an international reach and affect former Juventus players like Cristiano Ronaldo.
Any player, including Cristiano Ronaldo, who is found guilty of submitting erroneously lower pay might face a 30-day or longer suspension.
Between 2018 and 2021, Ronaldo was a member of the Turin-based team and might face this punishment.
According to Sportbible, he stated that “all members involved were questioned and admitted the circumstances [as part of the investigation].”
In the summer of 2021, Ronaldo left Juventus and joined Manchester United.
