Grace Iringe-Koko, the Command’s public relations officer, verified the occurrence in a statement on Thursday.

The command was notified, she said, that a native wooden boat with a single 25 HP Yamaha engine that was transporting people from the Ukwa village in Ngo town, Andoni Area, to Bonny Island overturned as it approached the Amariaria settlement in Finima town.
