Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has expressed his strong disapproval towards local government chairmen who engage in acts of violence or harm towards others.

Fubara emphasized that any political figure in the state who inflicts harm upon another individual will face consequences for their actions. This warning was delivered during the commencement of the construction of Elele-Omoku Road.

Fubara highlighted an incident where individuals attacked his people in Aleso, stating that such behavior is unnecessary.

He stressed that no one possesses the exclusive right to violence and that he, as the governor, could easily make threats, but chooses not to because both sides belong to him.

Fubara advised the local government chairmen to conduct themselves appropriately during their limited time in office, reminding them that politics will come and go, but life continues.

He cautioned against being deceived and warned that anyone who intentionally harms others in the name of supporting a cause will not be forgiven and will be held accountable for their actions. Fubara pleaded with everyone to behave responsibly and respectfully.
