Rivers Crisis: Fubara Vows to Emerge Victorious
Governor Fubara expresses confidence in overcoming the ongoing crisis in Rivers State, promising victory amidst growing challenges.
Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has announced his confidence in prevailing over the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, in their political confrontation.
The governor delivered a speech at the Christmas Ballad event in Port Harcourt, which was hosted by Peter Odili, a former governor of the state.
In a statement issued early Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Nelson Chukwudi, Fubara attributed his anticipated victory to the backing of the people of Rivers State.
Fubara stated, “It’s not just about wanting to accept it; I grow stronger in this endeavor every day because of the support I receive from the genuine people of Rivers.”
It’s not my own strength that’s on display. My resilience comes from each of you present here today. You provided the encouragement, took action on my behalf, and made calls for me. So how could I not stand up for you in return?
However, we firmly believe that the true game changer, liberator, and warrior is God Almighty. With Him on our side, victory is certain.
