The venue is being utilized by lawmakers aligned with Amaewhule, who have loyalty to Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

Fubara arrived at the venue accompanied by high-ranking government officials, such as Dr. Tammy Danagogo, the Secretary to the State Government, and his Chief of Staff, Edison Ehie. However, they found that the gate was locked upon arrival.

Speaking to journalists at the scene, Fubara explained: “Prior to coming here, I made multiple attempts to contact the Speaker. Additionally, I sent a letter specifically concerning this invitation.”

Regrettably, upon reaching the gate, it is evident that the location is entirely sealed off with no indication of any activity occurring today.

“The reason we are doing this, as I’ve always stated, is to benefit our people—the most crucial aspect. There’s no cause for concern in my view. I anticipate hearing from them after today,” he added.
