Rio Ferdinand criticizes Manchester United’s performance against Spurs, stating the red card is no excuse for the 3-0 defeat.

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has conveyed his frustration with the Red Devils after their 3-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford in Sunday’s Premier League match.

According to OBASANJONEWS, Brennan Johnson gave the visitors an early lead in the game orchestrated by Micky van de Ven.

Van de Ven sprinted the entire length of the Red Devils’ half and delivered a perfect assist for Johnson to score in the 3rd minute.

To make matters worse, United captain Bruno Fernandes was shown a straight red card in the 42nd minute.

Dejan Kulusevski extended Spurs’ lead to 2-0 in the 47th minute, and Dominic Solanke later secured all three points for the team.

Ferdinand, a decorated player with the Red Devils, shared his post-game thoughts on his YouTube channel: “We’ll discuss the red card shortly, but first I have to mention Van Der Ven’s impressive run through our entire team. It’s worth noting this isn’t an isolated incident; it happened in mid-week as well.”

“It happened in the middle of the week. Where’s your pride, man? I mean, it just doesn’t seem like that fight is where it ought to be.”

“We were embarrassing today. The red card is not an excuse for anyone at Man United. It shouldn’t be used as a justification by anyone at the club.”

“We were awful. We were painful to watch, and it was a poor representation of our true selves.”

“We kept giving the ball away constantly. I’m ranting, but I can’t help it. As I watched the game, all I could think was: what on earth are we doing?”
