The Labour Party’s leadership has urged both the Federal Government and Organised Labour to resume negotiations and reach a mutually acceptable agreement for the benefit of the Nigerian populace.

The party emphasized the urgent need for both parties to compromise and find common ground to alleviate the hardships faced by the citizens due to the ongoing strike.

The statement highlighted the necessity for an increase in the minimum wage, stating that the current wage is insufficient to meet the economic realities of the people.

It called on the government to take the lead in bringing Labour back to the negotiating table to address the current suffering experienced by the populace.
