The Ologbo Community has petitioned the federal government led by President Bola Tinubu to declare a “state of emergency” on the Warri-Benin dual carriageway.

In an interview with a reporter from OBASANJO NEWS24, the locals pleaded with the President to fix the road because of its terrible state.

Businessman George Boma, resident Maximum Orogo, commercial driver Idris Yusuf, and another resident Samson Omosuyi all urged the government to take into account the plight of inhabitants and act on the roads.

They bemoaned how the poor state of the road has hurt businesses and made daily life intolerable.

The road’s crucial placement as a point of entrance into Delta State, according to our correspondent, causes anxiety about its deteriorating condition.
