The House of Representatives has decided to extend its holiday by an additional week and will now reconvene on the 23rd of April.
This announcement was made by the clerk of the House, Yahaya Danzaria, in a statement released on Thursday.
Originally, the House was supposed to resume its activities on the 16th of April, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the date has been postponed.
The reason behind this delay is to allow for the completion of the green chamber, which has been undergoing renovations for the past two years.
