Representative Sani Noma of Kebbi State’s Argungu/Augie federal constituency announced that he had finalised a plan to provide 100 female orphans with marriages.
Speaking to reporters in his village of Argungu, Kebbi State, he explained that the marriage proposal was a way for him to fulfil his religious duties and show his support for the female children in his constituency who had lost their parents.
He said that the plans for the marriage ceremony, which will be held at the Argungu Emir’s residence, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammad Mera, have been finalised.
He also mentioned that the event would take place by 10 a.m. on November 25, 2023.
He said, “A committee has been established to ensure the event is implemented successfully.
The two local government districts that I represent in the national assembly produced the individuals who were chosen to be married out.
“I have already purchased mattresses, beds, necessary furniture, and other household items for the beneficiaries of the union.”
He also revealed that he would be providing some stuff to thousands of his constituents so they could be self-sufficient during the marriage ceremony.
According to the congressman, 500 milling machines, 600 pumping machines, 200 cars, 500 motorcycles, and 100 grinding machines will be given away.
