The supporters of Shooting Stars and Remo Stars got together to mend fences before the forthcoming Nigeria Professional Football League.
On Monday at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, a delegation from the Sky Blue Stars supporters club met with Oluyole Warriors supporters.
In order to prevent violence during and after games, both delegates agreed on the need to educate supporters.
Prior to the commencement of the new NPFL season, they also decided to put procedures in place for a long-term resolution to their dispute.
OBASDANJO NEWS24 notes that clashes between the two parties have in the past involved disorderly behaviour that resulted in injuries and property damage at stadiums.
On Sunday in Ibadan, Shooting Stars will play their first NPFL match against Plateau United.
