Reminisce: King of Boys actor announces retirement from acting

Actor and hip-hop musician from Nigeria, Remilekun Abdulkalid Safaru, better known by his stage as Reminisce, has declared his retirement from the performing arts.

Reminisce announced that he would no longer take acting roles. Reminisce made his film debut in the 2018 action crime thriller “King Of Boys.”

The “Local Rappers” crooner claimed in an interview with Zero Conditions that he only agreed to play Makanaki in the feisty crime thriller because he wanted to try something different.

“I will never act again. I’ve lost interest in it,” he declared.

He said that although he would have wanted to grant fans’ requests to see him in more films, “no” was the answer.

His daring nature was highlighted by Reminisce, who also hinted that he might decide to become a newsreader for fun in the future.
