Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has visited the family of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja, to offer her condolences.
The First Lady, accompanied by Hajia Nana Shettima, the wife of the Vice President, and Hajia Ribadu, the wife of the National Security Adviser, was welcomed by Mrs. Oghogho Musa, spouse of the Chief of Defence Staff. They offered prayers for her family.
The information was revealed in a statement issued by Mrs. Tinubu’s media aide, Busola Kukoyi, on Wednesday.

While comforting the widow of the late Chief of Army Staff, Mrs. Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, and her children, Senator Oluremi Tinubu remarked that only the Lord can determine when a person passes away.
She encouraged them to find solace in the good life and legacies he left behind. She advised the children to stay focused and continue striving for the ideals their father upheld.
Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja, the former Chief of Army Staff, passed away at the age of 56 following a period of illness.
