Two suspects have been remanded in custody in connection with the alleged murder of their uncle by a magistrate’s court in Ilorin, Kwara State.
They are Idris and Musa Aliyu, who live in the Kaiama Local Government of the State and are both Kaiama residents.
According to a police report, the accused are suspected of killing their uncle Muhammed Abubakar, 54.
According to reports, when the two suspects’ father arrived home, he found his younger brother’s lifeless body.

Before the magistrate’s court in Ilorin, the state capital, the Kwara State police command charged the two suspects.
Gbenga Ayeni, the police prosecutor, pleaded with the court to hold the suspects in custody while the investigation into the incident is being completed.
The case was postponed to November 1, 2023 in the trial magistrate A.A. Isah’s decision, which remanded the suspects.
