Divine Ikubor, as Rema, a well-known Nigerian singer, claims that after the success of his smash single with Selena Gomez, “Calm Down,” he wants to work with more American celebrity artists.

At the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey on Tuesday, the singer from Benin expressly stated that he wishes to collaborate with female superstars more.

Rappers Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion were highlighted as some of the artists he was looking forward to working with in the near future.

“I hope to meet Meg [Thee Stallion] and Nicki [Minaj] for potential collaborations,” he declared. One more? Yes, I want to connect with females.

According to OBASANJO NEWS24, Rema won the first-ever 2023 MTV Video Music Awards’ newly formed category for “Best Afrobeats Song” on Tuesday at the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey, USA, defeating Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, and others.
