Regarding Yahaya Bello’s “withdrawal of support” for Tinubu, the APC responds
The All Progressives Congress, or APC, has shot down rumours that Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi State, has taken Bola Tinubu’s support away.
Bello is a member of the PCC for the APC’s presidential campaign.
Before Tinubu gained the nomination in June 2022, the Kogi helmsman was a candidate for president.
According to a statement released by the APC on Sunday, there are “imagined political permutations” regarding the Kogi governorship race due for November.
The national publicity secretary, Felix Morka, called the rumours “maliciously false and a fabrication of its author and sponsors’ imagination.”

Bello, the PCC’s national youth coordinator, is a reliable, creative, and devoted Tinubu activist, according to Morka.
The spokesman stated that Hon. James Faleke, secretary of the APC PCC, and Bello are allegedly at odds with one another due to “the phoney news.”
“It is the pathetic and shameful speculation of opposition groups alarmed by our party’s massive campaign strides.”
According to Morka, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is unquestionably dedicated and working nonstop in the presidential election scheduled for next month.
According to reports, Bello prefers the current deputy, Edward Onoja, while Tinubu reportedly favours Faleke for the Kogi APC ticket.
