Regarding Tinubu’s Chicago University diploma, Atiku’s attorney made seven disclosures
A global press conference was held on Thursday by Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate for the general election of 2023.
The election’s results were contested in court by Atiku, who came in second place to Tinubu.
The former vice president was unsuccessful in his appeal at the Supreme Court after losing at the Presidential Tribunal, but he persisted in his legal battle before a US court, which ultimately ordered the release of official records.
He had contended that Tinubu should not have been allowed to run for office because of errors in the certificate from Chicago State University (CSU) that he had provided to the INEC.
According to Kalu Kalu, Atiku’s attorney, who was responding to queries from journalists, the following charges are summarised:
– Tinubu altered the CSU certificate submitted to INEC.
— “Female” appears as the gender on the Southwest College Certificate he used to apply to CSU.
— Even though Govt College was founded in 1974, according to his CSU application form, he attended and graduated from it in 1970.
– A black American female provided the paperwork necessary to apply to CSU.
The admission letter cannot possible belong to Tinubu because he denied possessing a second citizenship on his INEC application.
The records show that Bola A Tinubu’s initial “A” is “Ahmed,” although it is “Adekunle” on the NYSC certificate he submitted.
— The Supreme Court has the authority to consider additional evidence if the conditions are satisfied, and Atiku has done so.
