Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) nominee for president in the most recent election, claimed on Sunday that he was receiving threats for turning down incredible offers.

Obi asserted that he is prepared for anything.

The identities of the people or organisations that made the propositions to the former governor of Anambra State remained a secret.

As a guest on “ParallelFacts”‘ X Space, he stated this assertion while taking questions.

Obi maintained that he would never stray from the correct path and that he had no fear of death.

“Let me tell you, the offers I’m getting today are incredible. Conversely, what they want to do to me for turning down the deal is equally terrifying. I am prepared to face any challenge, though.

“I always remind people that even though I’m sixty-something years old, I did not die a young person when I pass away. You’re putting your life in risk, Peter. There were those who passed away in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. Furthermore, my children have grown up and are now independent.

It’s acceptable if I go today, provided that I stay true to the statements I made the day I made the decision to enter politics.

“I’m going to stay on the correct course,” he declared.
