Red-Hot Boniface makes the team of the week in the Bundesliga

According to DAILY POST, Victor Boniface, a striker for Bayer Leverkusen, has been selected for the Bundesliga Team of the Week.

This season, the Nigerian international will be in the Team of the Week three times.

In Leverkusen’s 4-1 thrashing of Bundesliga rookies Heidenheim on Sunday evening, Boniface scored twice.

Since joining the team this summer, the 22-year-old has put eight goals and three assists on the board for Die Werkself in seven games across all competitions.

The offensive player was named August’s Bundesliga Player of the Month.

He also accepted the award for Rookie of the Month.
