Hilda Effiong Bassey, often known as Hilda Baci, is a popular Nigerian chef who has stated that she cannot date or marry a man who can cook.
She emphasised that she doesn’t want a man who will outshine her in the kitchen while stating that she loves to cook.

The former holder of the Guinness World Record claimed that a man placing her food orders is her love language.
Speaking in a now-viral podcast video that was circulated on X (formerly Twitter), Baci declared, “I don’t want a man who can cook. It’s not what I desire. I have a great love for cooking. My friends would tell you that Hilda would send you food as a way to express her affection for you. You’ll prepare meals for yourself. That’s kind of what I enjoy doing for the people in my life, particularly my partner.
“You can say, ‘Baby, I want a doughnut,’ and wake me up in the middle of the night. Meat pie is what I desire. And to prepare it for you, I’m taking off for the kitchen. That’s what I like to do. A man who can order me meals is what I want. I’m in love if you can order me food without giving me any trouble.
