The reason I didn’t honor Ifeanyi on the “Timeless” album, according to Davido
David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, a well-known Afrobeats performer from Nigeria, has revealed why he decided not to include a song in his new album, “Timeless,” in honor of his late son Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The album was supposed to be centered on Davido’s late kid, according to his supporters. Davido, on the other hand, opted to make the album more amusing.
In a statement made on Monday at a press conference in advance of the next ‘Timeless’ performance, which is set for April 23 in Lagos, Davido said that his intention was to make a classic album with few or no sad songs to prevent fans from becoming distraught following the death of his kid.
People who have been listening to tunes for a long time may vouch for this, he continued. No matter what I might be going through, I have always been a joyful person.
“If there are any more sad songs, it will be a completely different project on its own as I never intended to combine them,” the author said.
