Three coaches have been named by Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti as potential successors to him as La Liga club manager.
There is a strong likelihood that Ancelotti will take over the Brazil national team after leaving Los Blancos next summer.
Xabi Alonso, a former Madrid midfielder, has received significant job speculation this week.
Ancelotti spoke about the rumours surrounding Alonso during a press conference on Tuesday.
He stated: “I have coached Xabi, and he’s doing fantastic work at Bayer (Leverkusen).”
He’s a great coach because he has a deep understanding of the game.
“One day, I hope to manage Real Madrid alongside Xabi Alonso, Raul, and Alvaro Arbeloa. I adore them all equally.
