Eden Hazard declared his retirement from the game of football, and Chelsea and Real Madrid responded.
Hazard declared his retirement from football on Tuesday morning at the age of 32, according to an earlier story from OBASANJO NEWS24.
The Belgian stated that it was the appropriate time for him to retire from the match and added that he wanted to put his loved ones first.

In response, Real Madrid released the following statement on its website: “Following Eden Hazard’s announcement that he will retire from professional football, Real Madrid C. F. would like to express its gratitude and warmth to a player who joined our club in 2019 and who, during the four seasons that he belonged to our team, won 8 trophies: 1 European Cup, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 2 LaLiga titles, 1 Copa del Rey, and 2 Spanish Super Cups.
Real Madrid wants to wish Eden Hazard and his family the best of luck as they begin a new chapter in their lives.
In a similar vein, Chelsea announced on its website that one of its all-time greatest players, Eden Hazard, will be retiring from football at the age of 32.
In the 2012 summer, Hazard became a member of the Blues. With the now-famous tweet, “I’m signing for the Champions League winner,” he announced his entrance.
“It didn’t take the Belgian long to gain the respect of Chelsea fans. His stunning deception, unrestrained dribbling, and propensity for the spectacular goal helped Stamford Bridge win more hardware.
“Hazard made 352 appearances, scored 110 goals, and received four Player of the Year awards during his seven unforgettable years at Chelsea.
Hazard left join Real Madrid in the 2019 summer. However, his place in Chelsea history and the praise he would garner from fans were already firmly established. Stamford Bridge would always welcome him back.
