Olugbenga Olawore, a pastor affiliated with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), along with several other passengers, was reportedly abducted in Oyo State, as reported by Obasanjonews.com on Saturday.
The incident took place on Friday while the bus was on its way to Lagos State, according to sources.
Olawore is currently serving as a pastor at Heavens Gate Parish, RCCG, Lagos Province 73, located along Agbara-Lusada Road in Ogun State.
The abduction occurred at the Maya axis of Lanlate-Eruwa Road around 5 pm on Friday, as per information obtained by Obasanjonews.com.

The pastor had been returning from Ipapo town, where he was finalizing the burial arrangements for his late mother, Deaconess Deborah Olawore.
The wake for the pastor’s mother was scheduled to begin on Friday, April 26, with the burial set for Friday, May 3rd.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the state police command, SP Adewale Osifeso, confirmed the incident to Obasanjonews.com on Saturday, stating that investigations are ongoing and updates will be provided accordingly.
