According to Time Out, Lagos has been recognized as the 19th best city to visit globally. This ranking was based on a survey conducted among over 20,000 city residents worldwide, in collaboration with Time Out’s network of editors.
The criteria used to evaluate the cities included factors such as the quality and affordability of food, cultural offerings, nightlife, the overall atmosphere of the city, community spirit, access to green spaces, historic sites, and more.
Time Out also collaborated with Potentia Insight, a research company, to ensure the survey’s credibility.
Among African cities, only Cape Town, Lagos, and Accra made it onto the list. Additionally, in the Brand Finance City Index of 2023, Lagos was ranked as the fifth most desirable African city for living, working, and investing.
The report also mentioned that Lagos and Nairobi were ranked below Cape Town, Cairo, Johannesburg, and Casablanca.
