Qatar reveals specifics of Gaza hostage release and ceasefire

Important information about the anticipated ceasefire and the release of Israeli prisoners held by Hamas in Gaza has been made public by Qatar.

According to an official, the first batch of 13 captives will be released around 16:00 on Friday, when the temporary ceasefire is set to start at 07:00 local time.

The Israeli government source informed the BBC that Hamas had made further demands, despite the fact that the battle was originally scheduled to cease early.
In the first part of the accord, Israel would release 150 Palestinian detainees and Hamas is expected to release 50 captives from Gaza.
