The screening, which was originally scheduled for April 2, has been rescheduled to April 16. This change in date is due to the ongoing Muslim Ramadan fast and Christian Lenten season.
The screening process is expected to last for two weeks and will mark the conclusion of the recruitment exercise.
The PSC has designated the 17 Zonal Command Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force, as well as Kaduna, Yobe, and Zamfara States, as the venues for the screening.
These states have been given special consideration due to the security challenges they face.
Candidates from these states will be required to undergo the screening and practical tests in their respective states of origin.
Specialist applicants who have already completed the physical and credentials screening but did not participate in the JAMB conducted Computer based tests will also be subjected to practical tests and medical screening during this period.
The Police Colleges located in the states hosting the Zonal Command Headquarters will serve as additional venues for the exercises.
The Police Recruitment Board will provide shortlisted candidates with detailed information regarding the specific venues and dates for their screening.
Once candidates successfully pass the medical screening, they will proceed to the Police Colleges for further training.
